Written by David Wright this latest Crowood publication utilises David’s easy
writing style to bring alive at least some of the TT’s history. No one book is
capable of covering it all and none would be so bold as to suggest they could.
However, like some of his previous Isle of Man related titles, he manages to
take a slightly different slant to others and bring alive the personalities who
are as much a part of the races as the bikes and the events themselves.
As with all Crowood publications of late, the book is well laid out and reader
friendly, allowing it to be dipped in and out of and used as a reference work,
as well as a general good read. Well illustrated, the 270 glossy pages are easy
on eye and the tome is well worth the £25.00 asking price. ISBN 978 1
