This Kawasaki ZX9R 1998-1999 & 2002-2003 Ivans Jet Kit is also the result of more than 8 months of combined testing. It is designed for use with a 4-1 (not 4-2-1) exhaust system, which means that it is primarily designed around the Akrapovic full exhaust OR any Bolt-on exhaust including the stock one.

NOTE:
This Kawasaki ZX9R 1998-1999 & 2002-2003 Ivans Jet Kit has been tested with similar results with a Muzzy exhaust. The Muzzy exhaust has a short secondary section (the part of the pipe where it is 2 separate pipes), anything with a longer secondary than the muzzy pipe will not work with this kit.

This Kawasaki ZX9R 1998-1999 & 2002-2003 Ivans Jet Kit will eliminate all of the closed to part throttle problems associated with this bike. In addition, it will dramatically reduce vibration, and will produce a dramatically better midrange and top end power than any other kit available.

A +4 degree ignition advancer is recommended and will sharpen throttle response throughout the rpm range with no penalty to top end power.
