SBK Classic Corners, Episode 4 - Craner Curves |

Welcome to episode four of our SBK Classic Corners series, which takes us to the UK and the home of the very first World Superbike race at Donington Park. Craner Curves is perhaps the defining corner at Donington - a downhill swoop soon after the first turn at Redgate, which takes the riders right and then left as they head down to the Old Hairpin. It's the left that loads the front end of the bike and can lead to some spectacular dismounts if the rider hasn't got Craner Curves absolutely right. In this film, Eurosport commentator Jack Burnicle provides some historical reference before Honda World Superbike Team rider, Jonathan Rea, describes Craner Curves from the rider's point of view. He's helped by local expert and former GP rider 'Rocket' Ron Haslam, who has probably done more laps around Donington Park than any other human. With thanks and best wishes The Honda World Superbike Team Article source: Honda Racing
