This great motorcycling, free riding Hollywood classic movie was
released in 1969 and stars Dennis Hopper ( who also directed the film)
and Peter Fonda as Billy and Wyatt (Captain America) who cruise
through the film on choppers to a great soundtrack of 60's rock and roll
hits. The choppers ridden in the film are a focal point throughout and
the motorcycle ridden by Peter Fonda (as Wyatt) is called 'The Captain
America'.
The "Captain America" is a customised 1952 Harley-Davidson Panhead
with the now famous Stars and Stripes flag on the bike's tank.
Billys bike is just know as 'Billy's Bike' and is also a customised
Harley Panhead!
