Believe it or not this is now in its 24th edition, the last four of which have been published by Italian Giorgio Nada Editore who has once again published the 208 page 2011-2012 version. As before the text has been taken care of by Claudio Porrozzi while his brother Fabrizio Porrozzi has taken all the stunning colour images which liberally illustrate this 208 page hard-back.The hard-back book as before is in full colour throughout and available in separate English and Italian language versions. Each round is covered with short but comprehensive text backing up the images. At the rear the book it also covers the Supersport and Superstock races as well, but not in quite such depth as the WSB won of course by Carlos Checa on the Ducati. In addition to the chapters on the actual two races at each round, the teams, the riders and the bikes are also covered in their own chapters along with a chapter on tyres and there are some brilliant shots of the bikes without fairings showing how a WSB machine is put together compared to a normal road bike. As usual in a coffee table style book the images are stunning and good enough to stand on their own without text. As usual there is little to say other than this is a book that does exactly as its title promises, gives you a complete overview of the 2011 WSB championship and provide an excellent historical record of the series. If you are a WSB fan you cannot afford not to have this on your bookshelf especially as it officially sanctioned by the organisers. If you just love motorcycle photography it is well worth a look, especially for the close up engine shots as much as the action. Excellent value at £29.00.
