Now in its ninth year of publication, this seasons MotoGP roundup is once again published by Haynes in association with MotoGP rights holder Dorna SL and is written by renowned motorsports journalist and broadcaster Julian Ryder, with a little help from his friends. It includes race-by-race reports and detailed statistics from all 18 races of the season, as well as an in-depth technical review of the 2012 machinery by technical journalist Neil Spalding. In addition, the hardback tome comprises of 216 pages jam-packed with facts, opinion and stunning photography with 250 colour images illustrating the informative text, including some brilliant studio images. It was of course a season that saw Lorenzo clinch his second championship, but also one that saw the prodigious talent of Casey Stoner retire and Rossi announce his return to Yamaha after a dismal two years at Ducati. Everything you need to know and remember is chronicled on the glossy pages of this coffee table book. It is great value for all racing fans and the latest in a series of books that are building into an authoritative history of arguably some of the most exciting times in racing at the highest level. As with any licensed product it carries a premium price tag at £30.00 but it is well worth every penny for any serious race fan.
