This A4 hardback book written by Bob Woods is aimed at the 8-14 year-old who is developing an interest in off-road two wheel action. It is part of series of books aimed at this age group and its well illustrated 32 pages provide useful start for the fledgling two-wheeler. It takes the reader from the sports origins right trough to the X-Games and Freestyle Championships with a mix of period black and white as well as modern colour plates to keep the reader interested. Text is kept short and to the point to fit in the likely attention span. A good solid book for the age group intended although a little expensive at £9.99 although a soft-bound option is available for £4.99. Review by Ian Kerr
