The History of the TTOnly Duke Marketing could get away with a title such as this and not open themselves up to criticism, because you just know they have the archive and footage to pull off a programme that really is a history of over 100 years of racing.

Previously marketed when video was the accepted medium, they have totally revamped the three-tape programme and brought it bang up to date with this two disc set that finishes with 2010 record breaking TT. (Also included is ‘Sounds of the TT 1957 -1968’ which has more than 70 bikes on ‘full song’ at the TT!) It really is the most comprehensive story of the world-famous Isle of Man TT starting at the beginning in 1907.

The full legend of the TT is explored with archive footage, modern racing action, interviews and much more to deliver not only the history, but also the electric atmosphere of the world's greatest road race.

Literally thousands of hours of film and tape have been gone through to compile this edition, which includes a tribute to 26 times winner Joey Dunlop. The second disc also shows the Centenary of the TT in 2007, including the stunning 130mph-plus lap by John McGuinness, and the 2010 TT, when Ian Hutchinson re-wrote the event's history by taking storming victories in every solo race.

Obviously it is must have for TT fans, but even those who have never been will enjoy the four and three quarter hours of island racing and maybe see why the TT is so unique and has such a loyal following.

What else can I say other than the quality is as high as ever and you get real value for money at £19.99. Ref:-DMDVD1759N
