11oz (311g) aerosol, £9. Buy online or find your nearest stockist at www.lucas.co.ukTHIS spray is solely intended for those who spend their lives on two wheels. The spray penetrates, lubricates and in turn helps to extend chain and sprocket life. If you think that you can get away with just a spray of WD-40 then you’re wrong. Bike chains suffer constant friction and take a battering from water on the roads leading to rust forming between the pins and bushing of the chain. This Chain Lube sticks like the proverbial to a blanket and will not fly off at high speeds leaving you splattered with oil marks. The corrosion resistance offered because the oil clings so well is outstanding. Penetrating deep within the moving pins of the chain and sprocket also helps to reduce friction and drag. Again, like the contact spray, the Chain Lube comes with a directional straw. When sprayed you notice that this almost foam-like lubricant almost instantly breaks down into a liquid running between the parts that matter most. The unique propellants in the aerosol also mean that the can is able to be used upside down. Again the same warnings have to apply to this spray as the contact spray — it is highly flammable and extremely toxic.
