 What I like about Venhill– specialist manufacturers of high performance brake lines and control cables –is that their tool range is well thought out and aimed at meeting the motorcyclists needs rather than just being tools.Take their latest Sockets and Drivers kit which is supplied in a handy carry pouch that is ideal for stowing on the bike, or in luggage. It contains a solid moulded grip and a selection of interchangeable hex, Phillips and slotted drives, and 8, 10 and 12mm sockets, ideal for getting you out of trouble at the side of the road or on a trail. The grip itself has ¼” square drives in the end and on the side to allow for ‘T’ drive for extra leverage as well as straight drive use. The drivers themselves and the sockets are made from heat treated chrome alloy steel and there is sufficient variety in the selection to get you out of trouble when out and about, although I have used them in the workshop as well. Personally I have taken mine out of their carry case and placed the contents in my Venhill Fender Tool Kit which I do not venture out on the trail without. Thanks to its design there was plenty of room to accommodate the new items making it even more comprehensive.
